Hello, I am an Indigenous Woman, born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC. Canada. I started this project in 2018 in response to my mother being diagnosed with her third bout of cancer. At this point, I lost all hope in many things including the medical system. I turned all of energy into research and development of our traditional plants, heavily focusing on devils club and arnica. In 2018 I started the company Wooms Botanicals Co and have never looked back since. All of my research and teachings pointed me back to my ancestors and my parents. As a passionate and empathetic young person, all I wanted to do was heal my parents from all they were struggling with. Unfortunately, we lost the battle with our mother and her cancer. However, we never lost the momentum in learning the teaching of our elders. Anyways, I am glad i found you because what you are doing is fabulous.
