Rugged Refinement is a 100% Indigenous-owned skincare brand based in Surrey, British Columbia. It is founded by Kelly Marsch, a civil and landscape construction supervisor with 20 years of experience. Through this, he worked long hard days outside battling the elements.
The brand started with a simple problem: dry, work-worn skin needed effective daily care without a complicated skincare routine. Rugged Refinement was built for people who want simple, functional skincare that’s easy to use and actually works.
Our flagship product, Whipped Tallow Balm, is a 6 oz unscented daily moisturizer for the face, hands and body. It combines grass-fed and finished beef tallow, raw wild Manuka honey, jojoba seed oil and calendula extract in one simple balm designed for everyday use.
