Designer Introduction:
Kalo a’n (Carolanne) Corbin walks a path where fashion and leadership meet. Over her two and a half years of sewing, every garment is an exercise in inherent sovereignty, and a commitment to the stewardship of our Native resources.
Kalo a’n has woven her Bermudian imagination together with her Mi’kmaw heritage to create a style that is as resilient as it is vibrant. But her passion extends beyond the sewing machine — she is a fierce supporter of the sovereign rights of our people and a champion for her fellow Indigenous entrepreneurs and crafters.
She believes that when we create, we exercise our self-determination. Kalo a’n is honoured to share her pieces and offers her deepest gratitude to those who support. Wela’lioq.
